A digital skills programme in Malaysia that helps TVET students and graduates build skills in Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Web Development through IBM SkillsBuild. Learn at your own pace, earn an IBM digital credential at no cost, and connect with industry professionals.
Yes. Registration, all courses, the IBM SkillsBuild platform, bootcamps, mentorship and your certification are provided at zero cost to you.
TVET students and TVET graduates/alumni aged 17 and above.
Choose one of two pathways. AI Pathway: AI Fundamentals: Language and Vision in AI (Intermediate, ~10 hrs) and AI-Enabled Applications for Customer Service (Advanced, ~8 hrs). Web Development Pathway: Web Development Fundamentals (Beginner, ~12 hrs) and Software Engineering for Web Developers (Advanced, ~14 hrs). You only need to complete one course in your pathway to get certified.
Finish the course modules and meet the assessment requirements, including scoring at least 80% on the end-of-module assessment. IBM then issues your official IBM SkillsBuild digital badge.
Yes. The programme is delivered online, so you need a device - preferably a laptop or desktop - and a stable internet connection.
You can register and start learning anytime. To take part in the Ambassador Programme, you need to be registered by December 2026.
MAJU! is the point-earning journey that tracks your participation in five stages: Mulai, Aktif, Jangkau, Unggul and Impak (the “!”). Each stage has actions that earn points.
Points are added automatically. You can earn up to 190 points.
The DTA competition gives eligible participants an opportunity to develop and showcase AI-driven project ideas. Selected finalists present their projects to IBM and industry representatives at the national Symposium.
